Frequently asked questions.

How does hourly billing work?

Each running server is billed every hour at its plan's hourly rate, debited from your wallet balance. If you destroy or power off a server, billing stops at the next hour boundary. The monthly rate is a cap — you'll never pay more than the listed monthly price in any given month.

What payment methods do you accept?

UPI, credit and debit cards, and netbanking through our payment processor. Wallet top-ups start at ₹100.

What happens if my wallet runs out?

We send low-balance email warnings. If your balance reaches zero, running servers may be powered off automatically to prevent further debt. Powered-off servers continue to occupy disk and incur a small storage fee until you top up or destroy them.

Can I get a refund?

Unused wallet balance can be refunded to the original payment method, subject to our refund policy. Hourly charges already consumed by running servers are non-refundable.

Do you offer backups?

Yes. One-click snapshots are available on every plan, and automated daily backups can be enabled per server.

What operating systems are supported?

Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, CentOS Stream, Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux, and custom images via ISO.

Do I get full root access?

Yes. You get full sudo on every server, plus a web console fallback if you lose SSH access.

Is there a free trial?

Signup is free with no credit card. You only pay for servers you choose to deploy — billed hourly from your wallet.

How quickly do servers deploy?

Most servers boot in under 60 seconds after you click deploy.

Can I resize a server later?

Yes. You can move to a larger plan at any time. Downgrades depend on whether the smaller plan's disk can hold your current data.

Do you support custom domains?

Yes — TorosHosting hosts your servers; you can point any DNS to your server's public IPv4/IPv6.

Where are TorosHosting servers located?

Germany, Finland, USA, and Singapore. See our Locations page for the full list.

What support do you offer?

Email support is available 24×7 for all customers. Priority response and engineering escalation are available on request for larger accounts.
